SQL2GSM Professional is fully scriptable service application that can be used as a SMS server, SMS gateway or other service based on short text messages. This product combines SMS functionality with access to SQL database, multiple protocols (like HTTP, TCP/IP, POP3, SMTP, SMPP etc.) which provides a large number of usage posibilities.
Strong core that supprts many common GSM modems or phones provides an easiest way how to deploy such SMS service very quickly. You can add a new functionality to the existing system by connecting SQL2GSM to your system or you can deploy completely new independent service.
SQL2GSM can fully operate with SQL queries and supports almost all SQL servers you can find today (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.). This also makes SQL2GSM strong position because you do not need to adapt to the products requirements.
Moreover you do not have to run SQL2GSM just in connection with SQL and GSM (SMS). Since SQL2GSM supports other protocols (like mentioned above), you can deploy services like Email2SMS, SMPP2GSM, SMS over TCP/IP, SMS from websites etc.
It is also not required to use GSM modem, because SQL2GSM can work without GSM modem and use just other functionalities. Like service Email2SMS using SMPP protocol from some SMPP provider.
